good morning, class, my name is miss leous, that's lee-iss, and this is blogging 101. you don't need to raise your hand to ask a question or ask for the bathroom pass. this is hopefully going to be a very simple and painless way of learning how to blog.

FYI: **You must have a gmail/google account to register for blogger.

start by going to www.blogger.com. (i am only using blogger for this tute because it's what i use. there's lots of other blogs out there.)

click the arrow that says “Create a blog” (down at the bottom of the screen).

think of what you want the name of your blog to be. write it down where it says “Blog title.”

Blog address (URL): An example of a URL is www.google.com. another example is http://audblogblog.blogspot.com/ --- which is my URL. you can use your name if you want, like i did, or the title of your blog (mine could for http://workingtitle.blogspot.com/ if i wanted)

the word verification thing can be annoying but you get it right or it won’t let you in!

then the fun starts --- picking a template!

scroll down the list and find some templates that interest you. you can test drive each template by clicking on “preview template” under the image. don’t worry, you won’t lose any information!

now you can start writing!

an entry in your blog is called a post. you can post several times in one day. you can write in your post, just post pictures, and comment on others’ posts.

it’s pretty simple… put in a title where it says title. type your post in the box below the title. you can click ‘save’ if the document isn’t done yet. or, if you’re ready for the world to see your Very First Post, you can click Publish!

voila! that’s really about it. there’s more advanced things like fonts and styles, links, yada yada. lemme know if you want more!
