the perils of the internet

it's no secret that i'm an internet junkie. i love everything about it. and the my latest internet pasttime is shopping via the internet. i love it - no more standing in line behind screaming kids, no more being blocked in every. aisle. by some idiot, and, most of all, no more going from one store to another trying to find what you want/need and not being able to find it/find it cheaply!!! arrghh! nothing grinds my gears more than that.

it's good that i've gotten in touch with my inner hatred of other people. i think ~98% of the population are idiots, i really do--but that rant is for another time... and so i don't really shop anymore because i am trying to avoid idiots, and especially shopping idiots. another fantastic result is that i find myself spending a lot less money on stupid crap from target that was made in china. i think a lot more about where the product came from and if i can make it myself. you'd be surprised how many things you don't need to buy!! and it's sick how much people spend on worthless junk that ends up in a landfill.

boy. i can't seem to get through this post without ranting about one thing or another. it's been one of those weeks.

so, my point is, i'm addicted to shopping online and i recently spent between $30 and $40 on thread. but look at the beginning of my collection!

it's so purty. and i try not to feel guilty by telling myself that this is a good investment because i'm going to be sewing for the rest of my life.

so, that's about it for now... tgi freaking f man.
